Nooshi the Balloon Dude's First Book!

"Learning Numbers with Nooshi the Balloon Dude" book teaches infants and toddlers the basics of counting and learning numbers. Numbers are one of the first things kids learn and need to know about. Each number features a different balloon animal that matches the number as the count goes up. Teaching numbers to toddlers is an essential part of their education. Children have to start learning about numbers somewhere, and it usually happens in the home. This book, featuring Nooshi the Balloon Dude, makes it simple and easy for kids to see the number (also a balloon), and then match the number with the number of balloon animals on the following pages. Kids will have fun counting the balloon animals on each page. Infants and toddlers will be learning their number and counting basics in no time. Any investment in a child's education is priceless.

Valentine Song for Kids

Add this song to your Valentine's Day playlist. Available on iTunes now
See lyrics below:

My Valentine, featuring Nooshi

Will you be my Valentine?
And take away my fear.
Can we make these roses last?
All throughout the year.
Did my heart beat fast again?
Just because you're near.
Can we dance all through the night?
Would you be my dear?

(Chorus)
Will you be my Valentine?
On this special day.
There can be a fresh romance.
When you say, 'Ok'.
Will you be my Valentine?

Every time our gazes meet.
Every time we touch
I feel some kind of energy
Or something of the such.

Please accept my one request
I need you I must confess
Will you be my Valentine?
I'll be yours and you'll be mine.

(Chorus) 2x
Will you be my Valentine?
On this special day.
There can be a fresh romance.
When you say, 'Ok'.
Will you be my Valentine?

(Bridge)

(Chorus) 2x
Will you be my Valentine?
On this special day.
There can be a fresh romance.
When you say, 'Ok'.
Will you be my Valentine?

What does a turkey say? (Gobble, gobble, gobble)
What does a turkey do? (Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle)
What does a pilgrim do (Jiggle, jiggle, jiggle)
Happy Thanksgiving to you.

What does a turkey say? (Gobble, gobble, gobble)
What does a turkey do? (Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle)
What does a pilgrim do (Jiggle, jiggle, jiggle)
Happy Thanksgiving to you.

Pass around the stuffing and the pumpkin pie.
It is so delicious that I cannot lie.
I'm gonna eat potatoes and a roll or two.
I'm not gonna finish til my plate it through.
(Here we go now)

What does a turkey say? (Gobble, gobble, gobble)
What does a turkey do? (Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle)
What does a pilgrim do (Jiggle, jiggle, jiggle)
Happy Thanksgiving to you.

I'm thankful for my family and for all my friends.
I'm thankful for the parades and the marching bands.
I'm thankful for the football and the turkey trot.
I'm thankful for my nap on the bed I've got.
(Zzzzz.... Zzzzz....)

What does a turkey say? (Gobble, gobble, gobble)
What does a turkey do? (Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle)
What does a pilgrim do (Jiggle, jiggle, jiggle)
Happy Thanksgiving to you.

I'm thankful for the pilgrims and the Indians.
I'm thankful for thanksgiving and the pounds I gain.
I'm thankful for our freedom and for this great.
I'm thankful that we live here so let's lend a hand.

(Two more times now)
What does a turkey say? (Gobble, gobble, gobble)
What does a turkey do? (Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle)
What does a pilgrim do (Jiggle, jiggle, jiggle)
Happy Thanksgiving to you.

(One more time now)
What does a turkey say? (Gobble, gobble, gobble)
What does a turkey do? (Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle)
What does a pilgrim do (Jiggle, jiggle, jiggle)
Happy Thanksgiving to you.
(Gobble, Gobble, Gobble)

Food Songs for Kids

Nooshi is currently recording some new food songs for kids! Mmmm yummy! Childrens songs about food are so much fun. Nooshi's children's food songs will include songs about cheese pizza, han-gubers, waffles, hot dogs, and more.

What is your favorite food song thus far for kids? There is the famous 'Hot Dog!' song by They Might be Giants as well as the popular song about peanut butter and jelly called 'Peanut Butter Jelly Time' by Chipman & The Buckwheat Boyz. Kids love these songs. There is also that song about Waffles, entitled 'Do You Like Waffles?' by Parry Gripp.

Nooshi's first children's song about food was the 'Chicken Nugget Song', released the Summer of 2010. The song was promoted through simple videos on youtube and thus far is gathering views. The Chicken Nugget Song is a unique song that celebrated that kids favorite food.

New Short Happy Birthday Song

So, singing 'Happy Birthday' is sung millions of times a day. The original version of Happy Birthday is soooo simple and is easily sung in big and small groups. So what if you want to sing a new birthday song? A short and catchy one that groups can sing. Well, many restaurants make up thier own short and sweet songs that they sing for birthdays on request. Some of them are so funny and clever. However, they usually don't sing the original Happy Birthday Song because of the copyright. Us at home are not concerned with that when we sing it for birthday parties.

A few years ago, my mother made up a short and sweet birthday song that she called 'Your're Older Now Hooray'. The birthday song is under 20 seconds and is easily sung in small and big groups. In fact, every birthday we sing it to each other in the family. It is easy to learn. Below are the lyrics to 'Your're Older Now Hooray'.

Happy, Happy, Happy!!!! (Sing Happy one at a time and hold it for a simple 3 part harmony)
(Now in Unison)
Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday to our friend
Happy, Happy, Happy, It makes us want to jump and bend
It's your special day! Your older now hooray!!!

That's it. I challenge you to learn it. I recorded the song and it is available on Nooshi's birthday album on iTunes. It's actually the very first track on the album.
